Yeah romantic context, cept usually when a woman is scorned they say “hell hath no fury” because there’s NO way she’s lettign the man live it down… *eyeroll* So what was so special about that commentary? Mike and Bryan said Kataang’s gonna win and that Katara was the one most pwned by Zuko, this is news?
Ohh fyi, Jet propulsion is an extremely effective means of thrust, and climing metal walls that are NOT sheer using rivets and joint-bolts as handholds is FAR from unrealistic.
At least Suki is a worthy object of fanworship, unlike some snobby, ally-betraying daddy-face-pwned freak with emotional baggage to rival a fat Bangladeshi chick. (I’m not sure if I mean that last part, we’ll see, as long as you see it.)
I think you guys, as usual are way off and biased towards the Zutarian side (what’s new?) but maybe if you guys could fix your tech problems it’d still be nice to listen to, otherwise you’re just drabbling all the same “blah blah” that you’ve been spewing since the beginning of Zutara… I almost fell asleep… *fights back a yawn* I think the best part was hearing you go silent so we could all listen to the commentary… *shrugs* “Kataang is gonna win” was proof enough for me, straight from the creator’s lips.

Great podcast tonight!!!! Definitely enjoyed the “Boiling Rock” discussion, it gave me lots of reassurance.
Oh, and I have a suggestion for next week’s song! “I Dare You” by Shinedown. The chorus starts with “I dare you to tell me to walk through fire….” I ALWAYS think Zutara when that part rolls around. And there are some parts of the song that describe the conflict between Maiko and Zutara. Give it a listen!

I’m listening to this for the second time, and I was laughing and everything while listening to it the first time. Especially when the major spaz in the middle happened, i was actually surprisingly laughing cuz it was kinda funny. But still, it’s sad how much spazzing there was.
And I just gotta say that I bought my copy of the DVD the day it came out and yeah, very exciting! God, I hope the profit they make will really help toward the movie!
About Koh, didn’t one of you mention this before? About how Toph might get her face stolen from Koh due to that weird nightmare from Aang in Nightmares and Daydreams. Man, you guys should make a podcast or something to analyze that one specific dream with Toph’s face gone, Katara in fire, Sokka covered in something, and season 1 Zuko in ice or something…
And about Jun, I always thought Jun was from the Fire Nation and was just wandering in the Earth Kingdom with her Shirshu.
i have much more to say, but i think if i say anymore, my “tokens will have to be refreshed” for podbean…

I dind’t heard any KATAANG IS GONNA WIN!!! And besides, Oprah would only ship Kataang because she likes the ones that have less possibilities. She would be like “Poor Aang!” Has anyone noticed that Mike and Bryan contradict each oother when it comes to ships. One says one thing and the other the other. So can you please tell me what Mike and Bryan said about Oprah and stuff I coulnd hear it very well. Thanks

Okay, I am a Zutarian here… and I don’t want to sound like I’m against it or anything when I say this…
but when you brought up the biggest couple of the fandom generally wins… I have to disagree.
In the Digimon fandom, the biggest fanon couples were Taiora and Mimato, but in the end it was Sorato. Everyone(minus me and the other Sorato fans) were disappointed.
To be honest, I can’t think of a time at the top of my head when the biggest fanon couple did win. XDD
Though I usually ship the couples that become canon, so I’m hopeful for Zutara!

Digimon is kind of an iffy situation. From what I remember (this being back in the day for me…I feel so old now) the dubbed version of Digimon had a tendancy of throwing in lines for characters that were never said in the Japanese version. A tendancy that often was thrown in for Tai and Sora, making it seem more obvious for this pairing than it actually was meant to be originally. That and Sorato was way more popular in Japan than Taiora was, so creators may have went with that…hence the weird little twist that no one saw coming over in North America and it felt out of place for many.
Admittedly, I was a Taiora fan, but as season 2 played on and I rewatched season 1 a few times (that coupled with the fact that I knew the above information already), I saw Sorato becoming more apparent and wasn’t really that surprised when it happened…disappointed? Sure, but that nagging Sorato aspect never really left the back of my head as season 2 contined to air…which is funny because its the same thing for me when it comes to Zutara…hopefully my nagging feeling is right again…this really just goes to show that sometimes the most obvious thing isn’t always what’s going to happen…

“Zuko’s gonna score. And we’re all gonna yell ‘REDEMPTION.’” Heh heh. That made me chuckle for some reason. The Great Divide had an actual point… man, that’s rich!
I feel behind now because I don’t have the DVD. I want to wait for the season boxset, darn it! I got seasons 1 and 2 in nice, neat single packages, and I’ll be holding out for all of season 3! Otherwise it’s like when you have a book series in all paperback except for that ONE giant clunky hardback, and it looks terrible on your shelf.
I never noticed the Sukka-Zutara parallels before! And OMG it’s so hilarious to hear M&B talking about the shipping wars. I wonder which message boards they lurk on… I wonder how many rabid posts they’ve seen… I wonder if they know about this show!

The podcast was great =D I have to say it is totally biased but that’s the Nation for you. Bias doesn’t necessarily imply untruth either. Suki is total love, so is Mai, and Koh! I want Koh so badly. D= I think the spinoff show should be alllll about Kuzon, who secretly had his face stolen fifty years ago. As always, you guys rock, you brought up some good points and hey - What’s Oprah worth anyway?

This is another great podcast, I’m sure that everyone enjoyed! You covered so many good points about Boiling Rock, and I have to agree with Trishna87 that Mai’s Uncle does look like a girl…Hahaha….Keep up the good work, you’re making the Zutarians proud!

Aha! Those episodes were great, of course, but I KNEW that something felt a little…odd..about them.
And it WAS that they were defying the laws of nature, in so many ways! Suki’s spiderwoman thing, Zuko’s leap, Ty Lee tiptoe-ing across the gondola line with great speed, Zuko kicking a metal lever right off, Azula flying, even when Azula fell and landed almost in a push-up stance and just…lay there…it just didn’t seem very…realistic. Phony, almost. Cheesy. And usually the fights and the martial arts are so well done and realistic that they take your breath away!
So…I guess the martial arts were a little bit dispointing this time.
Well, hopefully they’re saving all the good moves for the finale!
Still, Boiling Rock = great episodes. They came out online on my b-day, best present ever, so nice to FINALLY have some new action. I was on the edge of my seat (as usual) !
You girls had a lot of fun today….it made it real fun for us listening as well!! ;P

Anywho, taking a joke about Kataang and Zutara as Obama and Clinton as proof of Kataang, jeeze and people say Zutarians stretch things? XD
